I enjoy my job as a Media Specialist because I can share the importance of reading with the young readers. I also enjoy my job as the CRT because it allows my to utilize my Master Degree in Educational Technology. |
I enjoy making pottery.

I've been making pottery for the past 25 years. I began in 1980 when I took my first ceramics class at Milford High School in Milford Michigan. I had a great ceramics instructor, Dan Parrish. He was the reason I took 4 years of ceramics in High School and several classes while in college. In 1984 I began developing glazes and one of the recipes is still used at Milford High School. Over the years I have enjoyed making pieces of all types, however, I usually involve the potters' wheel in some fashion. |

In my studio I have 1 large Amoco kiln and 1 medium Duncan kiln. The Duncan kiln I use to bisque fire and the Amaco is a newer kiln and I use it for glaze firing. I have a large Northstar Slab Roller, Northstar Extruder, Shimpo Pottery wheel. |
